IPAK condoles death of its former vice-president

Tensuman Sarat Meitei played an important role for welfare of people in the state, especially in the implementation of Inner Line Permit System in Manipur, IPAK stated.

Indigenous People's Association of Kangleipak (IPAK) extended its condolences on the demise of former vice-president of Federation of Regional Indigenous Society (FRIENDS), Tensubam Sarat Meitei due to COVID-19.

A release by IPAK stated that Tensuman Sarat Meitei from Nambol Laitonjam Makha Leikai played an important role for welfare of people in the state, especially in the implementation of Inner Line Permit System in Manipur. The sacrifices he had made when he was the vice-president of FRIENDS (former name of IPAK) were commendable.

It further said that his demise is an irreparable loss for IPAK and will extend all possible support to the bereaved family.
