The office of Imphal East DC on Friday invited claims and objections against the state government’s notice for acquisition of land for construction of Imphal Ring Road within Imphal East district, to a hearing which is scheduled on December 19.
A notice issued by Imphal East DC Khumanthem Diana Devi stated that the office vide notice of even No dated September 19, 2022 had invited claims and objection against the ‘government notification No. LA-1/8/2021-REV-REVENUE dated September 12, 2022 for acquisition of land for construction of Imphal Ring Road within Imphal East district under Section 11(1) of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013’ from any interested person within 60 days from the date of the publication of the notice.
In pursuance of Section 15 of the Act of 2013, hearing of the objection shall be held at 2 pm of December 19 at the District Conference Hall of DC Office Complex at Porompat in Imphal East, it stated.
It informed all the complaints and objectors concerned to appear in person or by any person authorised by them on their behalf or by an advocate for hearing of the objections.
