The Indigenous Manipur Muslim Development Organisation (IMMDO) is a fake organisation formed in the name of working for the people of Keirao Gram Panchayat, nominee 13-Keirao Makting Zilla Parisad Md Rehanuddin on Monday said.
Addressing the media at Keirao Makting Youth Club ground, Keirao, Imphal he said some people identifying themselves as members of IMMDO alleged that the nominee of 13- Keirao Makting Zilla Parisad misused the funds of job card holders of the gram panchayat. The allegation is baseless as all the wages amount of job cards are credited to the personal bank accounts of the respective job card holders, he said.
He said if the organisation was formed for the welfare of the public then IMMDO should clarify to the public when the organisation was established and where is their office and Keirao branch office.
Rehanuddin said IMMDO is a fake organisation formed by some people for their own vested interest in order to get their own benefit by misusing public money.
He appealed to the government to take necessary steps against such fake organisations which could harm the society.
