To ensure that the three Ima Keithel in Imphal are running smoothly, the Khwairamband Ema Keithel Sinpham amadi Saktam Kanba Lup (KEKSSKL) on Friday appointed as many as 150 new executives (50 each from the three Ima Keithel).
The executive members were appointed during a general body meeting of the KEKSSKL held at Khwairamband Bazar in Imphal.
Speaking to the media, KEKSSKL president Khetrimayum Shanti Devi said that the organisation was registered in 2004-2005 and it has been working for the welfare of the historic market and for the welfare of the vendors till date.
She informed that the executive members of the organisation were reduced due to COVID and old age and it has faced a lot of inconveniences in its functioning. Hence, the process to recruit new executives was taken up, she informed.
All the new executives had also taken an oath to ensure that they provide their best service with unity in ensuring that the Ima Keithel is running smoothly and well.
