In connection with the upcoming Independence Day Celebrations, a house-to-house search operation was carried out as preventive measures at Khongjom Mayai Leikai under Khongjom Police station starting from 4 am to 6 am on Monday.
The search operation was carried out by a combined team of Thoubal district police, led by SDPO H Johnny Sharma Thoubal; two teams of Khongjom Police station led by OC inspector K Santosh Singh, and Commando teams of Thoubal led by subedar Daulat, along with a team of Women Police station Thoubal under overall supervision of SP Thoubal H Jogeshchandra.
During the search operation, about 80 houses were searched properly and about 210 persons (both males and females) were verified by observing strict Covid protocols. During the operation, no persons were detained and picked up. Further, six persons were found not vaccinated till now and they were advised to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
