House passes Rs 3187. 24 crore supplementary grants for FY 2020-21

Manipur Legislative Assembly on Monday passed supplementary grants of Rs 31,872,436,368 for the financial year 2020-21.

A total of 39 demands on supplementary grants for various departments were passed on the fourth day of the ongoing Assembly session.

Of the total budget passed, the state legislature estimate is Rs 45,23,61,000; for council of ministers Rs 66,562,000; for secretariat Rs 30,68,40,699; for transport Rs 12,84,32,000; for police Rs 5,73,38,119; for information and publicity Rs 1,53,12,000; for education Rs 123,89,55,550; for medical, health and family welfare services Rs 253,12,25,000; for municipal administration, housing and urban development Rs 166,18,29,000; for labour and employment Rs 6,00,00,000; for department of tribal affairs and hills development Rs 75,73,41,000; for cooperation Rs 90,81,000; for agriculture Rs 19,84,82,000; for animal husbandry and veterinary including dairy farming Rs 50,33,39,000; for environment and forest Rs 36,22,90,000; for community and rural development Rs 695,20,52,000; for textiles, commerce and industries Rs 13,28,80,000 were passed.
