Hiyangthang temple bustles with activity for Bor

The Hiyangthang Lairembi Temple drew thousands of devotees on Friday for the revered Bor Puja, marking a significant event in the Manipuri lunar calendar.

From the early hours, worshippers flocked to the temple complex, eager to participate in the Sandhi Puja and seek blessings from Goddess Hiyangthang Lairembi, also known as Irai Leima.

Devotees believe that their wishes will be granted by attending this sacred ceremony, which is a highlight of the Mera month in the Manipuri calendar.

To ensure the safety and smooth flow of the event, local authorities took extensive precautions.

The Manipur police, along with members of the Manipur Red Cross Society and numerous volunteers, were deployed throughout the area, managing crowds and providing assistance where needed.
