The commando team are further advised and appealed to get acknowledgement from locally responsible civil society organisations in any activity to be taken up other than drug related cases, it stated. Any eventualities arising out of unwanted security excesses due to activities other than banned drug related cases will automatically invite public wrath and protest, it mentioned.

“The authority concerned is reminded and requested to remove the commando team from the border town immediately at the end of the slated two months time before it does more harm than good as past experiences taught us,” it added.
