The Thoubal district magistrate has temporarily lifted curfew in Heirok village from 7 am till 3 pm from Monday onwards, in order to enable the general public of the areas to carry out essential commodities. An order issued by district magistrate, Thoubal stated the curfew has been lifted after reviewing a report from superintendent of police, Thoubal, stating that there has been improvement in the law and order situation in and around Heirok Village. It stated that the curfew will be temporarily lifted from 7 am till 3 pm for the convenience of the general public of the areas until further notice.
