The Manipur Hawker Association strongly condemned the physical assault carried out by miscreants on a member of the association on Thursday around 11.30 pm at his residence located at Yairipok Top Chingtha Laimang in Imphal East.

The victim, identified as Senjam Nanao, son of Senjam Ibomcha, is a hawker, who is struggling as a breadwinner of his family, stated a release.

Expressing dismay over the physical assault on Nanao, the association urged those responsible to desist from such reprehensible actions, it said.
