The State Level Haipou Jadonang Death Anniversary Committee will observe the upcoming 92nd death anniversary of Haipou Jadonang at the Haipou Jadonang Memorial Park in Keishampat, Imphal on August 29.

The event will be organised under the initiative of Zeliangrong Union (AMN), stated a release. It will begin at 7.30 pm, it said.
The event will be held in a low-key manner with no mega public functions like previous years owing to the prevailing law and order situation in the State, the release said.

It also requested the public to light a candle at their homes at dusk on the same day as homage to the departed martyr.
