Great June Uprising Unity Day 2022: Traffic advisory issued; check out diversion, parking areas for June 18

Only earmarked vehicles will be allowed to come to Kekrupat via Keishampat.  All vehicles will be diverted at Kongba Crossing towards Singjamei Bridge via Ayangpali Road, Traffic control police wing stated.

The Traffic control police wing on Thursday announced that traffic diversions and parking areas are arranged in the interest and safety of the general public in connection with the Great June Uprising Unity Day which will be observed on Saturday.

All employees of offices, school located within the sensitised areas will be allowed to cross the cut-points after confirming their identity and all are requested to carry their respective identity cards, stated a notification signed by SP Traffic Control Police Wing Wungpam Kasar.  

The vehicles corning from Thoubal side will be diverted from Singjamei bazaar towards Kongba road and Wangkhei side via Singjamei Bridge and park near Palace compound ground.

The vehicles coming from Mayang Imphal side will be diverted at Khagempali crossing and Kwakeithel bazaar towards Lamphel Bus Parking via Tera bazaar, Naoremthong, Uripok Canteen Leirak to Lamphel  Sanakeithel and park there, it stated. On their return journey, the vehicles should follow the same route, it mentioned.

The vehicles coming from Tiddim side will be diverted from Kwakeithel via Tera Bazar, Sagolband Road towards the Jiri Parking area. On their return journey, the vehicles should follow the same route.

The vehicles coming from Sagolband road should park near the Jiri Parking area.

The vehicles coming from Uripok Kangchup road should be parked near JAS Petrol Pump, Uripok/Cosmo Dental Clinic Area. On their return journey, the vehicles should follow the same route.

The vehicles coming from Sekmai will be diverted at Khongnang Ani Karak towards Inter State Bus Terminus and park around the Main Stadium, it stated. The vehicles coming from Pangei side should park in front of Lamlong High School, it added.

It further stated that the vehicles coming from Ukhrul and Sawornbung side should be parked at Northern side Lamlong Bazar.

The vehicles coming from Tinsid Road should be parked at the Northern side of Tinsid Road at Lamlong Bazar and the vehicles coming from Yairipok and Andro sides should be parked at Andro Parking, it added.  

Concerning the parking arrangement for vehicles and buses carrying people to attend the function at Kekrupat, they will be allowed only from Minuthong and Khuman Lampak side, it mentioned.

No one except earmarked vehicles will be allowed to come to Kekrupat via Keishampat, it stated.  All vehicles will be diverted at Kongba Crossing towards Singjamei Bridge via Ayangpali Road.   

It also mentioned that a one-way traffic system will be enforced along the Loklaobung Bridge and Thumbuthong Bridge. Vehicles will be allowed to ply only from west to east i.e from NH-2 towards Thangapat.

All vehicles corning from Thoubal side ferrying people to attend the function will be diverted towards Singjamei Bridge - Kongba Road, Wangkhei and towards New Checkon road.

The dropping area will be Hafiz Hatta Road and the Parking area is near Palace Compound Ground, it stated.  

It continued that All vehicles coming from Mayang Imphal side carrying people to attend the function will be diverted from Pishumthong to Singjamei traffic point and proceed towards Loklaobung Bridge and reach New Checkon Road via Thangapat Place Compound Road towards Main Stadium, Khuman Lampak via Lamlong Bridge.

The dropping area will be Hafiz Hatta Road while the parking road area is around the main stadium, it stated.

All vehicles coming from Tiddim side should get diverted from Keishampat junction toward Mayai Iambi, Pishumthong to Singjamei traffic point, Loklaobung Bridge and reach New Checkon Road via Thangapat, Palace Compound road towards the main stadium, Khuman Lampak via Lamlong bridge.

The dropping area will be Hafiz Hatta Road while the parking area will be around the main stadium, Khuman Lampak.

All vehicles corning from New Cachar road will be diverted at Maharani Bridge towards Wahengbam Leikai, Keishampat Junction towards Mayai Lambi, Pishumthong, Singjamei traffic point, Loklaobung Bridge and reach New Checkon Road via Lamlong Bridge, it mentioned.

It further stated that the dropping area will be Hafiz Hatta Road and parking will be around the main stadium, Khuman Lampak.  

It further stated that the vehicles coming from Uripok - Kangchup road will be diverted at Maharani Bridge toward Wayengbam Leikai, Keishampat Junction toward Mayai Lambi, Pishumthong , Singjamei traffic point, loklaobung Bridge and reach New Checkon Road via Thangapat and Palace Compound Road towards Main Stadium Khuman lampak via Lamlong Bridge. The dropping area will be the same as mentioned earlier, it added   

The vehicles coming from Sekmai side should enter Stadium complex via Dingku Road and drop the passengers near stadium and then come out at Dingku Road via Pandon Road.

The dropping area will be Khuman Lampak Sport Complex and the parking area is around the main stadium.

The vehicles coming from Pangei side will be diverted at Lamlong Bazar towards Minuthong via Telipati and after dropping the passengers, they will park in the area, it mentioned. It also mentioned that the dropping area will be Minuthong while the Parking road area is Near Hafiz Hatta.

The vehicles coming from Ukhrul and Sawombung side will proceed towards Minuthong via Lamlong Bazar. After dropping the passengers at Minuthong they should proceed towards Lamlong via Checkon crossing and Ayangpalli Road and park at Lamlong bazar along Ukhrul Road, it stated. The dropping area will be Minuthong while the Parking Road area will be at Lamlong Bazar.

It continued that the vehicles coming from Tinsid Road will be diverted from Lamlong Bazar towards Minuthong where the passengers will be dropped. From there, they will proceed to Lamlong via Checkon crossing and Ayangpalli Road and park along Tinsid Road, it stated.  

The dropping area is Minuthong while Tinsid Road will be the Parking Road area, it added.

The vehicles coming from Yairipok and Andro sides will proceed to Minuthong where the passengers will be dropped. From there, they will proceed and park near Hafiz Hatta. Their dropping area will be Minuthong and the parking road area is Near Hafiz Hatta, it stated.  

The vehicles for “the 18 victims” will be allowed to go across Khoyathong LIC crossing towards North AOC, it stated. Their dropping area will be North AOC Traffic Junction while the parking Road area will be in front of RK Sanatombi School, North AOC, it added.
