The Kabui Union Manipur has expressed their gratitude towards the Supreme Court of India for appointing Golmei Gaiphulshillu Kabui as the first Kabui judge of Manipur High Court.

In a release, the union appreciated the collegium meeting of the Supreme Court held on January 10 and for appointing Golmei as the first judge from the Kabui community.
Lu Golmei Gaiphulshillu Kabui, wife of Faomei Gonglin, IGP, Manipur Police department, was born in Kakhulong Kabui Khul and now lives at her husband’s house in Namthanlong Kabui Khul, Thangmeiband.

The release also mentioned the major roles taken by Golmei Kabui in the society and also prayed to their divine Haipou Raa-Gang for her future.
