FSSAI license declaration mandatory

All food business operators to declare the 14-digit FSSAI license/registration number on cash receipt/invoice/cash memo/bills with effect from January 1, 2022.

The Food Safety Administration (FSA), Government of Manipur on Tuesday notified all food business operators to declare the 14-digit FSSAI license/registration number on cash receipt/invoice/cash memo/bills with effect from January 1, 2022.

A notice issued by the designated officer FSA, Imphal West Tekcham Brojendro Khaba Meitei informed that the FSSAI license declaration is mandatory as per order no. RCD-02001/10/2021-Regulatory-FSSAI, dated September 13 2022 of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (a statutory authority established under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006) Regulatory Compliance Division FDA Bhawan, Kotla Road, New Delhi – 110002.

This is with reference to FSSAI’s order no. 15(31)2020/FoSCoS/RCD/FSSAI dated June 8, 2021, September 30, 2021 and government of Manipur Secretariat, Health department office memorandum no MED-140/14/2020-HS-HEALTH dated September 21, 2022 respectively, it added.
