Frustrated candidates protest delay of results

The results for the Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) and Manipur State Power Corporation Limited (MSPCL) recruitment held in 2019 which aimed to fill 907 vacancies for eight different posts are yet to be announced.

Frustrated over the non-announcement of results for various posts of Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) and Manipur State Power Corporation Limited (MSPCL), candidates who appeared for the recruitment exams protested in front of Power Minister Th Biswajit’s official quarter on Monday.

It may be mentioned that the results for the 2019 recruitment which aimed to fill 907 vacancies for eight different posts are yet to be announced.

Speaking to the media after the meeting with the minister, a candidate, Yumkhaibam Manoj stated that the minister had assured to announce the results very shortly.

“We have been trying to get an appointment with the minister for a very long time. We have been knocking on officials’ doors without any positive response,” he said.

He highlighted that this was the first time the candidates had gotten an appointment with the minister.
“The frustration surrounding the candidate has been mounting up for a very long time. This issue needs to be resolved immediately,” he said.

All candidates demanded the authorities to announce the results swiftly and exuded confidence that the minister would stick to his end of the bargain.
