A free mega health camp was conducted at Kwatha village, Tengnoupal district, Manipur by Raj Medicity, North AOC Imphal on Tuesday.
The health camp was conducted by a medical team from Raj Medicity which includes specialist doctors from obstetrics and gynaecology, urology, general medicine, orthopaedics, paediatrics, general surgery, ENT, head and neck oncology department.
Over 300 persons were treated at the medical camp during which medicines, USG, ECG and RBS services were also provided to the patients at free of cost.
Managing director, Raj Medicity Haibijam Rajen Singh; obstetrics and gynaecology Dr H Ranjit; general medicine Dr AK Bishorjit; general surgery Dr N Markson; orthopaedics Dr P Lalsaheb; paediatrics Dr Santosh S; urology Dr N Shatarjit; RMO P Ringo; ENT Dr K Shangsaba attended the medical camp.

The 20 Assam Rifles, Kwatha COB extended assistance to the medical team and villagers by erecting tents, and arranging Hall and sitting chairs. The AR also provided meals to all the medical team.
Kwatha villagers expressed their gratitude to the medical team and Assam Rifles.
Meanwhile, a free Ayush health camp cum awareness programme was also held at M Ringpam village under Machi block in Tengnoupal district.

The health camp cum awareness programme was organised by United People’s Front, Manipur along with State Ayush Society, Directorate of Ayush, Lamphelpat and Ayurvedic Doctors Association of Manipur under the aegis of National Ayush Mission.

Chairman of M Ringpam village S Wungshungmi appreciated the efforts of the organisers in providing healthcare facilities to the villagers, who lack such facilities.
Free medicines were also made available to those who attended the health camp.
