The Manipur Ex MLA Welfare Association on Monday condoled the suddem demises of former MLA Mayanglambam Manihar Singh and extended a monetary aid of Rs 50,000 to the bereaved family members.

Late Manihar passed away on March 13. He was 86 years. He was the MLA of Wabagai AC for three terms and served as deputy speaker and minister of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry and Arts and Culture, said the association in a release.
He was also a distinguished politician and noble minded human being, it said, adding, "Prayed that his soul may rest in peace."
