Former Manipur Congress MLA Kh Joykisan joins JD(U)

Although an official announcement is yet to be made, Joykisan made the announcement that he has joined JD(U) at his residence in presence of JD(U)'s national secretary and Manipur in-charge Ramprit Mandal.

Former Congress MLA Kh Joykisan on Wednesday joined JD(U) in the presence of JD(U)'s national secretary and Manipur in-charge Ramprit Mandal.

Although an official announcement is yet to be made, Joykisan made the announcement that he has joined JD(U) at his residence at Thangmeiband, in Imphal West district.

Joykisan, who was elected from Thangmeiband constituency and became a member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly since 2012, was suspended from the Indian National Congress (INC) on January 18 on the recommendation of the Disciplinary Action Committee, MPCC.

He was elected as MLA from Thangmeiband assembly constituency under AITC in 2012 election which was his debut election.
