The Federation of Civil Society Organisations (FOCS) Manipur on Tuesday called upon the local clubs and meira paibis to devise effective resolutions on the prevailing crisis for the future of Manipur.

FOCS urged the local clubs and meira paibis to convene meetings soon and chalk out strategies to resolve the conflict and safeguard the indigenous people of the state.
The crisis in Manipur following the outbreak of communal violence is deeply disturbing and has caused untold suffering to the indigenous people of the state, it stated.

It further appealed to all the indigenous ethnic communities of the state to contribute in protecting the state’s integrity from illegal immigrants and terrorists.
