The CBSE Affiliated Schools Association (CASA), Manipur on Tuesday felicitated Thongkholet Mate of Sahomphai Village, Kakching district on being appointed as the first Manipuri regional officer of CBSE Regional Office Guwahati.

The function was held at Hotel Classic Grande in Imphal East and was presided by vice-president of CASA Manipur L Dinamani Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Thonkholet Mate highlighted the importance of establishing a Sahodaya and implementation of National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 in CBSE Schools.

Also stressing on the importance of DigiLocker, he said that documents issued by the CBSE through DigiLocker are authentic and should be accepted by all educational institutions in India.
