Ningthoujam Dijen, 27, son of N Muhindro from Moirang Kampu Mayai Leikai was a part of a mob that charged towards Khongsai Veng under Lamphel police station on May 4 in the wake of the clash that erupted in the state, as per sources.

He succumbed to a bullet injury from a gunshot, which was fired from Khongsai Veng, towards the approaching mob, it mentioned. His mortal remains were received by the bereaved family after post-mortem at RIMS mortuary, it added.
