A young doctor from Kangpokpi has won the prestigious Global Fame Award 2023 in Mumbai.
Dr David Paoginsei Lhouvum, managing director of Letpao Healthcare Centre, Motbung, received the prestigious award in the recently concluded 3rd Edition of Global Fame Award 2023 held at Hotel Novotel, Mumbai with Bollywood actor Sonu Sood as the chief guest.
Dr Lhouvum received the award from Sonu Sood at the mega event. Hailing from Motbung Model village in Kangpokpi district, he was nominated for Emerging Cosmetologist of India under the Genre Medical and Health.
Almost two years ago in September 2021, Dr David set up his childhood dream, a private healthcare centre christened Letpao Healthcare Centre at Motbung Model village with a motto, "Your Health, Our Mission" after his successful venture in establishing Royal Dental Clinic in the heart of Kangpokpi town.
The healthcare centre at Motbung Model village was formally inaugurated by Minister Nemcha Kipgen and dedicated by Rev. V. Sitlhou, President TBA-I.
True to his intention, Dr David's childhood dream, Letpao Healthcare Centre helped people in accessing health care facilities at an affordable price while promoting good health and well-being, especially among the deprived, marginalized, and economically weaker sections of society across the district and the state.
Letpao Healthcare Centre is a private healthcare centre, the first of its kind in Motbung model village and its adjoining area in Kangpokpi district providing facilities such as OPD and diagnosis on Skin, Medicine, Gynae, Chest, Paediatrics, Ortho, ENT apart from emergency medicine patients ward, general ward, Gynae ward and minor OT, ambulance service, ECG machine, all type of blood test, X-ray, Ultrasound at the centre.
