A district-level painting and slogan writing competition on 'Ayushman Bharat Diwas’ was held at Churachandpur Higher Secondary School on Thursday organised by the District Administration and Zonal Education Office, Churachandpur where about 40 students from four different schools took part in the competition.
Churachandpur CMO, Dr Kimngaihching Simte, and ZEO of Churachandpur, Chingkhei Singht, oversaw the competition for which prizes will be distributed to the deserving participants during the Ayushman Bharat Diwas-2022, the 4th year anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) observation on Friday at DTC Hall, Tuibong.
AB-PMJAY was launched on September 23, 2018 to provide health cover of up to Rs 5 lakh per family per annum for secondary and tertiary care hospitalisation to the poor and vulnerable families based on the deprivation and occupational criteria as per the Socio-Economic Caste Census.
The scheme provides for paperless and cashless access to services for the beneficiary at the point of service i.e. empanelled public and private hospitals across India.
