The Churachandpur-Pherzawl District Education Employees Union (CPDEEU) on Friday organised disbursement programmes of Pension Cum Gratitude and Death Cum Gratitude at the DI Thanlon block officials’ chamber.
As part of the event, they disbursed financial amount to nine of their colleagues which included 2 DCG with an amount of Rs 50,000 each and Rs 10,000 to others who are PCG. It was distributed by the CPDEEU President, Pumsong Hangshing.
The Churachandpur-Pherzawl Districts Education Employees Union is a collective platform accommodating all levels of staff under the Education Department within the twin districts. It was formerly known as the Churachandpur District Teachers Association.
The CPDEEU, through a Press Communique, mentioned that their past achievements include such as employees welfare like pay revision, collective pursuit with other employees union of the hills district on the digitization of service book, constant support and always being there for their co-workers in time of trial and tribulations and being with its member in times of bias treatment from the government agency and others.
