Delimitation: Northeast students forum announces mass rally against injustice

Terming the delay in delimitation exercise as injustice and discrimination meted out to the people of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland in Northeast India, the NESFOD said the mass rally for justice will begin at Jantar Mantar at 11 am.

The North East Students' Forum on Delimitation (NESFOD) has announced a mass rally on Friday in New Delhi as a mark of protest against delay in delimitation exercise in four NE states.

Terming the delay in delimitation exercise as injustice and discrimination meted out to the people of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland in Northeast India, the NESFOD said the rally for justice will begin at Jantar Mantar at 11 am.

"Injustice and discrimination has been meted out to the people of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Nagaland by withholding Delimitation exercise in these four North Eastern states for more than a decade now," the NESFOD said.

NESFOD called upon all to show support and join the rally to be held in Delhi on Friday.
