Expressing shock and bewilderment at the manner in which education providers (mostly private recognised schools) are being targeted time and again, it stated that the act of violence meted out to one of the most renowned school in the state calls for condemnation from all and by all.

It is high time the society acknowledges the contributions made by private schools in imparting education to the state’s young learners and also giving opportunities for employment to thousands of youths, who otherwise would have to remain jobless, the release said.
