Expressing shock and bewilderment at the manner in which education providers (mostly private recognised schools) are being targeted time and again, it stated that the act of violence meted out to one of the most renowned school in the state calls for condemnation from all and by all.
It is high time the society acknowledges the contributions made by private schools in imparting education to the state’s young learners and also giving opportunities for employment to thousands of youths, who otherwise would have to remain jobless, the release said.
It is time to shed away the mindset and attitude that private schools are money minting machines, it added.
UARSOM in the release also mentioned that the association shared the agony caused to the entire staff and Catholic School Association of the state by the recent bomb blast at Little Flower School.
