Cubeten Technologies to monitor, track work of ILP holders

Cubeten Technologies has been instructed to set up a call centre to facilitate both monitoring and tracking of Inner Line Permit (ILP) holders.

Manipur government on Monday instructed Cubeten Technologies to set up a call centre to facilitate both monitoring and tracking of Inner Line Permit (ILP) holders through the mobile numbers provided by the applicants or sponsors and also as a helpline for the ILP portal.

The call centre will be responsible for tracking of defaulters and checking their whereabouts, said an order issued by the deputy secretary (Home) while stating that the call centre should report to the head of State Monitoring Cell.

Stating that the number of seats will be finalised by head of state monitoring cell based on need and workload, upto a maximum of 10 seats, it said that the costs to be reimbursed will be finalised and recommended by directorate of IT in continuation of their contract with vendor for the ILP portal.

In another order, issued by the same, it ordered the opening of ILP counters at three railway stations (Vangaichungpao, Rani Gaidinliu and Thingou).

The order also gave authorisation to the OC of Tousem police station for issuing ILP at Vangaichungpao and Rani Gaidinliu Railway Station and to the OC of Khongsang police station for issuing ILP at Thingou and Khonsang Railway Station.
