CSV’s touring programme ends

The touring programme of the Chramram Segment Voice (CSV) which commenced on Thursday covering every village within the segment ended on Saturday.

The tour witnessed the RBCC Youth Gospel Meet at Chingkao village and also inspected some developmental projects including the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) and addressed the problems on irregularity of power supply in the area, stated a release.

It also examined the pending and incomplete works of JJM within the segment, it stated. It urged the concerned department and agencies to execute the work as per the directives of the concerned authorities.

While interacting with the village authorities, it came to light that the area has been cut off from power supply since the month of early march till date, it stated. It further pointed out that the organisation also encountered a naked wire on the ground between Thiulon and Impa-Nkang village.

It further requested the electric department to look into this matter and resolve the power supply problems by the end of november.

A meeting was also conducted with Thiulon village authorities and Youth body for the upcoming ‘5th Chramram Segment Unity Cup (CSUC) 2025’ to be held from January 20-25, it stated and appealed to the village authority, youth club, students union and villagers to extend their cooperation.
