The Communist Party of India Manipur State Council (CPI MSC) on Sunday said that its Central Executive has resolved to continue initiating measures to bring a solution to the ongoing crisis.
Representing the National Council meeting held since Saturday, CPI MSC State secretary L Thoiren presented a detailed report on the ongoing conflict in the state which has entered 14 months, stated a release.
The report was presented to the Nationl councillors from across the various states who were present at the meeting, it said.
He also highlighted the prevailing tense situation as well as the condition of the conflict victims, it mentioned. It also briefed the roles continuously taken by CPI MSC to resolve the issue in the state.
It alleged the state government of being a puppet government to the Centre and failing to maintain law and order in the state.
It further expressed discontentment that the situation has escalated to Jiribam district and lamented over the alleged failure of CM N Biren led government in the state. It reiterated CPI MSC Central Executive’s commitment and stand to bring a solution to the ongoing crisis in Manipur. The meeting will continue till Monday, it added.
