COVID-19 Outbreak: MHRC directs DGP to take action against unauthorised visits to private rehab centres

MHRC registered the complaint lodged by CONE president Nilakanta and USER, president M Jogesh who requested the commission to intervene in the matter.

Manipur Human Rights Commission (MHRC) on Tuesday directed DGP, Manipur to take necessary action to prevent unauthorised visits to private rehabilitation centres during the time of COVID-19 outbreak.

MHRC registered the complaint lodged by CONE president Nilakanta and USER, president M Jogesh who requested the commission to intervene in the matter. 

The complaint was registered under section 12 of protection of human rights act, 1993.
