A combined team of the Manipur police, 33 Assam Rifles and 69 CRPF/F-Coy seized a country-made gun along with explosives from Sinam Khaithong village, Kangpokpi district on Thursday.
A police statement mentioned that at around 2.30 pm an input was received of suspected movement of four to six persons at the entry point of Sinam Khaithong village, Kangpokpi district (New Keithelmanbi village).
The combined team immediately rushed to the place and searched the area.
During the activity, the combined team recovered one country-made GI Pipe muzzle-loaded gun with explosives and seized it by observing formalities.
It is also mentioned that a temporary bunker in the area was also dismantled by the combined team.
The arrest of any individual was not mentioned in the press statement.
