Condolence service for Behiang ambush victims in Churachandpur

The leaders of the frontal organisation of the Zomi, young children of the Only Grace Home run by ZMA  and students of St Paul Institute, led by their principal, paid floral tribute to the victims.

A condolence service for the young boy who was killed along with his parents and four soldiers in an ambush by militants last Saturday was held at Only Grace Home in Churachandpur on Wednesday.

The event was organised by the frontal organisation of the Zomi, including Zomi Youth Association, Zomi Mother Association, Zomi Student Federation and Zomi Human Right Foundation.

Son of (L) colonel Viplav Tripathi, Late Abeer Triapthi who was a student of Class 2 at St Paul Institute of Lamka died while accompanying his parents on a visit to Behiang post of 46 AR with his mother, where his father was the commanding officer.

In the condolence service, students of the orphanage home and St Paul Institute attended apart from the organisers and chairman of the Zomi Council.

The leaders of the frontal organisation of the Zomi, young children of the Only Grace Home run by ZMA  and students of St Paul Institute, led by their principal, placed a wreath and lit a candle in front of the portrait of the boy along with his parents.

The words ‘We salute you martyrs of our nation; your tragic death shocked the world. May your soul rest in peace’ were written on the banner.
