Community museums at Sangai Ethnic Park represent united Manipur: CM Biren

Manipur BJP celebrated its 44th foundation day at the state party office located at Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal on Thursday.

Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Thursday said that the 35 huts of each ethnic community of Manipur constructed at Sangai Ethnic Park, Moirang Khunou represent the identity of a united Manipur which the BJP has been giving its utmost priority.  

He was speaking at the 44th foundation day of Bharatiya Janata Party which was celebrated at the state party office located at Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal.

The BJP has already constructed the museums of 35 different communities of Manipur with an objective to bring unity among them, he mentioned.

He said that the purpose of good governance is to maintain a good law and order for the welfare of the people. To root out corruption, the present BJP government has already started a transparent job recruitment as an example, he added.  

The government has started declaring the results of government job recruitment with zero corruption. The people have been witnessing the messages of appreciation given by the selected candidates towards the government in social media, said Biren.

He reminded that any issues faced by the members of the party should be solved within the party level and each member of the party should follow strict discipline.

As a part of the function, Chief Minister N Biren Singh hoisted the party flag at the state party office along with the office bearers and members of the party. The event was followed by paying of floral tributes to Syama Prasad Murkherjee and Deen Dayal Upadhaya.

Later, CM Biren along with office bearers of the party, including the BJP members, listened to the speech given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and national party president JP Nadda on television.

Meanwhile, the BJP Manipur Pradesh OBC morcha also organised a ‘Khungang Chatsi Yum Yum Changsi’ at the community hall of Sawombung, Imphal East.

MLA, Lamlai assembly constituency, Kh Ibomcha; president of BJP Manipur Pradesh OBC morcha, RK Nongdrenkhomba and others attended the function.
