According to the villagers, when they called Robinsana’s mobile phone, a random person answered the call and said that the owner of the phone was killed.

Convenor of the committee, M Tomba, on behalf of the people of Khongjom, appealed to the government to look into the matter and find him at the earliest.

People of Khongjom, Sapam, Tekcham, Chingtham, Papal, Langthabal, Langathel, Phundrei, and Samaram staged a sit-in protest at Khongjom Keithel, demanding to urgently find Robinsana. Robinsana’s mother and wife fell unconscious during the protest.

M Tomba said that all contacts have been lost with Robinsana since May 28, he failed to take calls after repeated attempts but a self claimed Kuki individual answered Robinsana’s mobile on Monday afternoon and told them that the mobile owner has been killed.

CM N Biren’s announcement that Kuki militants are terrorists is a little late, said the convenor. He questioned the CM's silence for more than 25 days since the clash broke out. He also warned of intense agitation by the people of Khongjom circle and CSOs of the state, if the government failed to find the missing person at the earliest.

Taking part in the protest, Khongjom Circle meira paibi secretary Mutum Niramala said that Robinsana is an innocent civilian. She also condemned the Central and state government for turning a blind eye on the Indian army taking sides of the Kuki militants in the ethnic clash.

She further demanded the Indian Government to let the people know their hidden agenda on the prevailing clash and further questioned on how many innocent lives should be sacrificed by the government to end the clash.
