Free Telemedicine services are also being extended to the staff and patients at the doorstep by specialist doctors at state and district headquarters. This has lessened the need of patients coming to Imphal for consultation of treatment of Diabetes, Heart disease etc. It has been a game changer for citizens in far flung areas such as Kamjomg which is taking around 5-6 hrs to reach the state headquarter to consult a specialist.
