CM Biren assures support to all Manipuris settled in Northeast states

All Assam Manipuri Youths' Association has sought the support of Manipur government to help resolve several issues facing Manipuri students in Assam.

The All Assam Manipuri Youths' Association (AAMYA) met Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh in Imphal on Saturday, seeking the Manipur government's support and intervention to help resolve the several issues facing Manipuri students in Assam.

Expressing solidarity with the students and the communities belonging to Manipur, the chief minister took to Twitter and said the state will continue to extend support to all Manipuris settled across all states in the Northeast.

"Members of the All Assam Manipuri Youths' Association called on me at my secretariat. Discussed the issues faced by the Manipuri students in Assam & means for their rederssal. We have been extending support to the Manipuri communities settled in the NE & will continue to do so," Biren said in a Twitter post.
