Cleanliness drive held at Heirok

MLA Radheshyam mentioned that the cleanliness drive was being organised in connection with the 42nd Birth Anniversary of BJP.

Heirok assembly constituency MLA Thokchom Radheshyam on Sunday led a cleanliness drive held in connection with the 42nd Birth Anniversary of BJP at Heirok market and at the shrine of Lord Ikop Ningthou located at Heirok part II.

BJP Thoubal district president Y Kumarjit; general secretary N Opendro; BJP Heirok mandal president Th Chourjit; Thoubal ZP Up-Adakshya T Nungshi; Heirok part III pradhan N Tangba; BJP councillors of Heirok Municipal Council; BJP Heirok mandal leaders, mahila morcha leaders and youth leaders took part at the drive.

Speaking on the sideline of the event, MLA Radheshyam mentioned that the cleanliness drive was being organised in connection with the 42nd Birth Anniversary of BJP.

MLA said that the main objective of BJP is service with dedication. The 42nd Birth Anniversary is being celebrated, from April 6 to 14, during which various activities like cleanliness drive, offering sweets to patients, and tree plantation were conducted, he added.

He also lauded the people of Heirok assembly constituency for turning out in large numbers at the cleanliness drive. “We all should join hands for a developed Heirok assembly constituency and Manipur,” he added.

Later, floral tributes were offered to the portraits of Mother India and pioneers and founders of BJP led by MLA Radheshyam.
