The School Students’ Parents and Guardians Association of Churachandpur (SSPGAC), which was previously known as Parents Association of Churachandpur, has expressed its gratitude to private schools for deciding not to take tuition fees for the months starting April to September.
A release signed by its secretary, Syama Tungdim said on Wednesday that the decision was made in collaboration with KSO, MZP, SSPP, AMSU and AMSGO.
The association strictly followed the announcement by the director of Education (S) that no school fees will be paid during the lockdown period while the subsequent order by the commissioner of Education (S) and Hill Districts Recognised Private Schools’ Association, Manipur (HIDIPSAM) that was circulated on October 11 as unacceptable, said the release.
If any parents or guardians have any problems, they can contact the association for stopping the payment of tuition fees of their children, it added.
