Over the last two days, the Churachandpur district police confiscated IMFL and DIC liquor worth Rs. 1.58 lakh from the town area of the district headquarters.

The seizure on Wednesday afternoon was made from five sellers from five localities while the police made the seizure at Tuibuang Bazar area on Thursday.
The seized items include RS whisky, McDowell whisky, old monk Rum, Kingfisher beer and DIC which were disposed of on Thursday.

The marathon seizure of illicit liquor started 4 days back and most of the seized items on Thursday included IMFL which was owned by Baskak Kumar of Tuibong Bazar.
It included 93 bottles of whiskey, 14 bottles of Rum and 12 cans of beer.
