Deputy commissioner, Churachandpur district Dharun Kumar S on Tuesday notified all factories and establishments in the district to register in the Employees State Insurance Scheme and enroll their workers in the interest of their workers.
The notice stated that the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India vide Gazette Notification No. 2560 dated July 10 has declared that with immediate effect from August 1 the provisions of sections 38 to 43, sections 45A, 45AA, 45B, 45C, 45D, 45E, 45F, 45G, 45H, and 451, sections 46 to 73 (both inclusive), section 74 and section 75, sub-sections (2) to (4) of section 76, section 82 and section 83 of the Employees State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), shall come into force in all the areas of Churachandpur district.
All the factories or establishments falling within the ambit of the above mentioned sections of the ESI Act are requested to kindly register their factories/ establishments in the Employees State Insurance Scheme and enroll their workers falling within the eligible wage bracket on priority in the greater interest of their workers, it stated.
