The Janata Dal-United, Dorcas veng unit facilitated the new MLA of Churachandpur assembly constituency LM Khaute at Dorcas Vengs YPA hall on Tuesday.

It was attended many of the party leaders of the area, village authority and YPA leaders of the areas and supporters including Lalneihmoi Valte, wife of Thanlon MLA Vungzagin Valte who came in place of her husband as he could not turn up due to unavoidable circumstances.

The new MLA was presented with gifts by well wishers who also organised a traditional grand feast in the afternoon. Different organisations of the Dorcas Veng also submitted a memorandum to the MLA.
