In an effort to promote education, a career guidance-cum-blessing prayer was organised by the Education Sub-Committee of Saitu Gamphazol Area Youth Organisations. Around 80 students attended the event.
Rev Tingoulen Haokip, pastor, KBC No 23, attended the event as a blessing minister.
Seigunmang Sitlhou, proprietor Little Scholars' School; pastor Thangtinlen Haokip, St. Vincent's Parish; Manglet Haokip, chief manager -Admin SBI; Dimjaneng Haokip, Asst professor, College of Forestry, Feeds Group of Institutes, Hengbung and Dr Dhanaraj Thokchom, Dean, Biotechnology, Feeds Group of Institutes, Hengbung attended as resource persons.
According to the organisation, more activities will be taken up in the future for which the support and cooperation of parents, especially the various clubs and student bodies are highly anticipated.
