Capping ceremony of promoted head constables held in Churachandpur

The capping ceremony for newly promoted 36 head constables to Assistant Sub Inspectors from Churachandpur police was held on Thursday at the SP’s Official Chamber, Mini Secretariat Complex, Tuibong in Churachandpur.

The programme was attended by family members of those Manipur police where the spouse of the promoted policeman and the SP, Shaikh Mohd Zaib Zakir, IPS, capped the promotions.

After the capping ceremony, the SP advised the newly promoted ASIs to be always on guard as police duty is a 24X7 job where they should be on constant vigil and uphold the dignity of their service uniforms.

The SP also said that the newly promoted officers must uphold family values and must know that they are now qualified to take up important cases as Investigating Officer (IO) for which they have to work with dedication and sincerity so that people, who look up to them for help, will have trust and get justice in time of crisis.
