Monsangpantha village chief Ng Vincent Monsang,  speaking as the chief guest, stressed the importance of health and the role of women in providing balanced diet to the children, while Roshnichand emphasised on the nutri-gardening for providing nutri-food to the individual household.

She also encouraged the school children to learn about the nutri-food and to be health conscious. 

Also speaking at the event, A Ameeta Devi told female children and farmers to approach KVK Chandel for any training on nutri gardening. 

During the programme, plant saplings, seed packages were distributed to farmers,. Girl children eating nutri-millets, exhibition on value added products from millets, training on nutri-millets and film show on nutri-millets also marked the event.  

The programme was attended by 40 girl children, 35 women farmers and staff of KVK Chandel.
