Farmers Association for Inhesion Reformation (FAIR) president Ch Khogendro Singh said the farmers of Khoijuman have not been availing subsidised urea fertilisers despite the fact that the village is considered one of the largest vegetable producers in the state.
The highly irate farmers had approached BVFCL, Namrup Assam seeking adequate arrangement for availability of urea fertilizers.
The request was made jointly by the Farmers Association for Inhesion Reformation, Khoijuman; Khoijuman Mamang Farmer Organisation; Farmers Development Organisation, Khoijuman and Khoijuman Vegetable Farmers Organisation.
