BJYM warns against those involved in chat to kill Manipur CM Biren; one arrested

Manipur Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) president M Barish Sharma said those who were involved in a plot to kill Chief Minister N Biren Singh should clarify within seven days.
State general secretary of BJYM, AC Jabson mentioned in a release that a WhatsApp group was found plotting to kill Chief Minister N Biren Singh. It warned that those involved in the chat should provide clarification regarding their motive within seven days and that failure will result in strict action and consequences at their own expense.

It further said threatening CM is a threat to the people of the state and the matter is taken very seriously. The state BJYM president will take strict action against those involved persons, it added.
Meanwhile, district police Churachandpur arrested one Paominthang Haokip alias PM Rudo HK, 19, son of late Soigin Haokip of Old Gelmon village from his residence in connection with the post uploaded on social media with an inciting statement against the chief minister on Wednesday.

A case has been registered at Churachandpur police station.
