General secretary administration, BJP Manipur Pradesh K Saratkumar said shouting on the Parliamentary floor will not bring solution to the Manipur crisis and appealed for constructive suggestions to the government to end the crisis.

He said there was no any constructive suggestion while Congress MP, Angomcha Bimol Akoijam was delivering his speech on the Parliamentary floor.

If the Congress MP placed issued on implementation of NRC in Manipur and others it could be more valuable instead of shouting on the Parliamentary floor without including any constructive suggestion, he added.

Since May 3 last year, people across the state have been suffering with over 50,000 people displaced and 200 deads. PM Modi has remained a silent spectator too.

BJP spokesperson L Bashanta Sharma said PM Modi has spoken three times on the Manipur issue till date and it should be wrong to say that PM has not spoken on Manipur issue.

He said the Naga-Kuki clash continued for over a year and it ended automatically with the passing of time. Likewise, the present clash will also end automatically but the state government is also deputing para military forces and other forces to control the crisis, he added.

“Pentagon and World Trade Centre in one of the most powerful countries were even destroyed by terrorists, and no forces can stop such evil people but for Manipur, both the governments are taking necessary measures to control the violence”, said Basanta.

He said constructive criticisms are welcome and people should also appreciate the measures taken by the government.
