BJP Tamenglong expels 36 members for anti-party activities

The 36 expelled members were found supporting supporting Congress candidate Gaikhangam in the 12th Manipur Assembly Election.

The BJP Tamenglong district has expelled 36 of its members of 54-Nungba (ST) AC from the party organisation for six years for violating Article XXV Breach of discipline clause (B) for their anti-party activities by supporting Congress candidate Gaikhangam in the 12th Manipur Assembly Election.

The expelled members included special invitee Gaidon Kamei; president of Yuva Tamenglong, Kingsuang Meiringmei; president of Mahila Tamenglong district Peiningchunglu; president of Mandal Yuva Morcha TK Philip; president of Kisan Morcha Nungba Mandal, Gailanjei Kamei; secretary of BJYM Tamenglong Meijiangam Kamei, another 21 active members and nine primary members, said an order.

The order was signed by president of BJP Tamenglong district M Daniel; general secretary (adm) of BJP Tamenglong, Joshua Dangmei; president of BJP Nungba Mandal, Makuphun Rongmei; and general secretary (org) of BJP Nungba Mandal, M Thuanku Rongmei.
