Bishwadeep Gupta has been appointed as the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha (ABHM) president for North East India by Rajyashree Chaudhuri, the current national president on recommendation of the appointment committee. Bishwadeep Gupta, son of late Bishwajit Gupta, is a permanent resident of Silchar, Assam.
He is given the mandate to expand ABHM base and take the Mahasabha’s work and objectives to all the Northeastern states comprising Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
In a release, ABHM mentioned that, Bishwadeep Gupta is a technocrat with management degree and has worked extensively in the fields of education, media and management consulting with a passion to work for the common man. At present, he is also the Managing Trustee of KRC foundation, which works in the field of media, education, entrepreneurship and social outreach with the goal to connect the unconnected.
Bishwadeep said that he is honoured to accept the responsibility to establish the organisational base of ABHM in the region, the release added.
