The JAC members met N Biren Singh in the presence of MLA, Oinam assembly constituency I Nalini Devi and Works Minister Govindas Konthoujam on Tuesday.

The JAC is aware that calling bandh and blockades causes suffering to the general public but the situation compelled them to carry it out, the convenor added.
